Meet the Doctor

Dr. Robert Radel grew up in a military household and has called Seattle, Virginia Beach, and the Philadelphia suburbs home at various times.  He graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA in 1991 and from The Pennsylvania State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Premedicine.  He then moved to Boston, MA and attended the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1999.  He was commissioned in the United States Navy and served on active duty in the Navy for eight years.
Dr. Radel’s initial Navy tour was as a resident in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Parris Island, SC.  After receiving his certificate, he moved to the Navy Dental Clinic in Charleston, SC where he practiced as a general dentist.  He was accepted as a resident at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, MD, and in 2005 received his Certificate in Endodontics.  Dr. Radel also completed a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. concurrently with his residency training.  He then further served in the Navy at clinics in Okinawa, Japan and Mayport, FL before transitioning to private practice in 2007.  Dr. Radel opened Beaches Endodontics in 2012.
Dr. Radel is married to Deidra Radel, a former Navy JAG attorney, and they have a nine-year-old daughter, Abby.  The family are all active tennis players, and he also enjoys playing soccer, guitar, surfing, cycling, and spending time with his family and their Shih-Tzu dog.
